Hi everyone!

Please check the revamped website for our 'sister' organization - the "Our Planet. Theirs Too." Foundation! They are responsible for several amazing projects, such as the National Animal Rights Day, and the Declaration of Animal Rights project!

Our Planet. Theirs Too.

Wednesday, April 13, 2011

The New York Animal Rights Coalition presents:

OUR PLANET. THEIRS TOO.

A requiem ceremony for Earth’s non-human animals,
and a celebration of a new vision for all of its species.

Sunday June 5th, 2011, 11am-4pm, North side of Union Square, NYC

All are invited to participate in a public requiem ceremony to commemorate the billions of animals who endlessly suffer and die at the hands of humanity. We will collectively honor their lives and mourn their deaths, and offer another vision for life on planet Earth for all species. Educational displays and other attractions will follow the ceremony, to encourage the public to join us in this vision by adopting a cruelty-free lifestyle.

Come help us create a planet which is ours and theirs too!

We're basically all tying to be good people - lead good lives, be just, treat each other nicely, have nice families, friends, neighbors, just make it through life being the bast we can.
But, there is something at the base of it all, that we are ignoring, hiding, turning a blind eye to, but which refutes our whole purpose: the way we treat the planet and its animals.
As long as we let the torture, abuse, and mass killing of animals go on, our lives will never be pure, honest, just, or good. It will haunt us, and come back at us, in some way or another.
